Holiday Weekend

This weekend we took a little trip to Wenatchee for  family BBQs, fireworks, church, friends and our annual float down the Icicle and Wenatchee River. A perfect way to spend a hot day. How did you spend your holiday weekend?

My sister Amy will be gone to Burundi the next time, the last time (for a while at least) that we travel through Wenatchee at the end of this month. I'm so excited for her to discover all that I love about Africa. Burundi was my first country in Africa too. Maybe this will begin a lifelong or a season long love for her too? Anyway, it was so nice to spend several days with the family, to say farewell to my love Amelia- say hello to Buja for me girl!
